Tasting Notes-Glen Garioch 2007 Hand Filled Bourbon Cask#57
Colour: Pale straw. Nose: Sweet and spicy, lime blossom honey and vanilla. White pepper and oregano. Lemon zest with a hint of cinnamon. Taste: Sweet lemon meringue and grapefruit zest, elderflower perfume, light vanilla, lemon curd and custard cream. Sage with a dry and peppery mouthfeel-tasting notes from the bottle.
Glen Garioch Distillery
The distillery is located at Oldmeldrum in the Garioch valley near Aberdeen in North East Scotland. It was established in 1797 by Alexander Manson.
It became famous for producing the finest golden barley in Scotland.
Glen Garioch is pronounced ‘Geery’ the ancient Doric dialect of Aberdeenshire.
