Hibiki meaning ‘Harmony’ is a range of blended Japanese malt whisky, launched in 1989 to commemorate Suntory’s 90th anniversary. Ever since it has been embraced as the paragon of The Art of Japanese Whisky, the very product of Japanese nature and her people. Blended from Hakushu, Yamazaki and Chita distilleries in tribute to the 24 subtle season changes as per the ancient lunar calendar. Emphasising the crucial role of Japanese nature of whisky maturation. Suntory feel “ to become a blender at Suntory, one need to be able to communicate with whiskies that cannot speak”. The bottle features these same 24 seasons of Japan as Jewel like facets, with an Echizen Washi paper label. Each element of the handcrafted label reflects Japanese aesthetic.
